LeBron James and Russell Westbrook are clearly excited to get their Lakers team-up started.

If one needed more evidence than anonymously sourced reports to verify that LeBron James is very, very excited to have Russell Westbrook join him on the Lakers, they wouldn’t have to look much further than social media on Saturday, as the two new co-stars were all over Instagram and Twitter as a duo.

First, LeBron himself sent the internet into a frenzy with the first photos of him working out with Westbrook (and Lakers assistant coach Phil Handy) on Saturday morning:

And if those photos (and the caption) weren’t enough to get Lakers fans hyped for James and Westbrook’s salt-fueled partnership, the two put their bromance on full display during the Lakers’ final group play game of Las Vegas Summer League as well, getting a huge standing ovation upon their entrance at the Thomas and Mack Center from the purple and gold-specked crowd:

Ha, I’m just kidding, we have way better photos than that one that Christian apparently took with an internet-connected potato:

LeBron and Russ even busted out an accidentally synchronized dance routine from their courtside seats:

Cam Payne who?

In an... interesting... cameo — considering that his dad isn’t signed yet — Jared Dudley’s son, Justus “Juju” Dudley, also joined James and Westbrook for the game:

But he wasn’t the only kid who got to have a fun interaction with LeBron at the game. The King also made a young fan’s life by taking a selfie with him as he and Westbrook left in the third quarter:

Something tells me that these fun moments aren’t the last we’ll be seeing of these two guys out and about, reminding the basketball world of their new partnership, much like James did when Anthony Davis came to town two years ago.

The summer of Bron and Brodie is only just beginning.
