It’s gut-check time. And how the Lakers respond with their backs up against the wall will go a long ways in offering insight into this organization.

NBA: Los Angeles Lakers at Phoenix Suns Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Well, here we go. The Los Angeles Lakers find themselves in a must-win situation with their backs completely up against the wall and no other choice but to win or see a once incredibly promising season come to a resounding halt in just the first round. Other than that, this is a perfectly stress-free environment.

In this episode, Anthony Irwin and Jas Kang preview Thursday’s Game 6 between the Lakers and Suns. To kick things off, the guys discuss what the Lakers need to do in order to keep their season alive. What changes can Frank Vogel make to the lineup to spark the team? The Lakers will need a big performance from LeBron James, but which other Laker needs to step up and have a big game, especially on the offensive end.

Jas still has confidence while Anthony (and you’ll be surprised to find this out), is less than optimistic.

Following that, Anthony and Jas get into how losing the series could impact LeBron’s legacy. The guys debate how fair it is to criticize LeBron if the Lakers are eliminated given how things played out this season. Then, Anthony and Jas discuss how social media has impacted the GOAT debate between LeBron and Michael Jordan.

To wrap things up, Anthony and Jas give their thoughts on the latest changes surrounding the Boston Celtics and give their predictions for how the rest of the first-round series will play out.
