The Los Angeles Lakers have hit a wall with eight games remaining on their regular season schedule. In the five games that Anthony Davis has been back, the Lakers have gone 1-4. In the two games that LeBron James has been back, they’ve gone 0-2 with losses to the Sacramento Kings and Toronto Raptors, two teams that you’d bet on them beating even without James and Davis.

Things are not going well, but is it too soon to push the panic button? Christian and Jacob discuss that on today’s episode of “Can U Dig It?” But first, they recap with the Lakers’ 121-114 loss to the Raptors, in which James and Davis were thoroughly outplayed by Kyle Lowry and Pascal Siakam, the latter of whom they coveted at the trade deadline.

They then move onto the Lakers’ postgame comments, which included a comment from James suggesting that he’s not fully healthy. When you consider the fact that the playoffs start in three weeks, that’s not ideal.

The guys wrap the show by making cases for and against pushing the panic button. Are the Lakers different from any team that James has been on? Or are they just different from the team he was on last season?
