Even though the Lakers are coming off of a blowout loss to the Utah Jazz on Monday night, things are still looking up in Laker Land due to the news that Anthony Davis may finally be on the verge of returning. Prior to Monday’s contest, Frank Vogel shared that Davis is not only healthy, but that the only hurdle left for him to clear before he rejoins the lineup is conditioning related. And, perhaps most importantly, Vogel did not rule out Thursday’s game against the Dallas Mavericks as a potential return date.
All of that brings us to today’s episode of “Talk-O Tuesday” — a podcast by Silver Screen and Roll — in which our hosts Alex Padilla and Alex Regla discussed what Davis’ upcoming return could mean for the team, what we should expect from him when he comes back, and which players will be most impacted by him being back in the lineup.
Finally, to wrap things up, the duo also analyzed where the Lakers stand amongst the rest of the Western Conference, and why Davis and LeBron James should feel fortunate to still have a ramp-up period ahead of the playoffs.
