The Los Angeles Lakers took a small step back in their loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday, but there is a sense of calm around the team with Andre Drummond on the roster. However, Drummond’s arrival didn’t come without some controversy around the NBA.
In this week’s episode of “The 30,” Sabreena and Jas kicked things off by discussing Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN’s report that some league executives want changes made to how the league’s buyout market works. Do teams like the Lakers and Clippers have an unfair advantage? Sabreena and Jas don’t think so, and they shared their thoughts on why Adam Silver shouldn’t make any changes to the current system.
Following that, they got into Frank Vogel’s plan to play Marc Gasol and Montrezl Harrell together and whether or not they buy that Gasol will play meaningful minutes in the playoffs.
Finally, Sabreena and Jas previewed the upcoming seven-game road trip for the Lakers, and gave their predictions on where the Lakers will be in the standings by the time LeBron James and Anthony Davis return to the lineup. In the next week, the Lakers will play the LA Clippers, Miami Heat and Brooklyn Nets.
