On Wednesday, the Los Angeles Lakers trading for Kyle Lowry seemed like a long shot. Then on Thursday, the day of the NBA trade deadline, it seemed like Lowry to L.A. was a done deal because both the Miami Heat and Philadelphia 76ers made trades that took them out of the Lowry sweepstakes as the Raptors cleared roster spots left and right.

Unfortunately, the trade deadline came and went, and Lowry stayed put in Toronto. So what’s next for the Lakers? Sabreena and Christian discussed that and everything else from the NBA trade deadline on this week’s episode of “I Love Basketball.”

Before they got into the trade deadline, though, Sabreena and Christian recapped the Lakers’ 109-101 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers, which included a Dwight Howard ejection and a 28-point outburst from Danny Green. They also discussed how Marc Gasol looked in his first game back, and the areas that he can help the team while LeBron James and Anthony Davis are injured.

Finally, they talked about the buyout market, and whether they’d prefer Andre Drummond or LaMarcus Aldridge, both of whom will reportedly meet with the Lakers before deciding on which team they’ll play for next. Does Adam Levine still have that jersey?
