New email policy is reducing participation - microsoft emails blocked

Dear everyone,

I've been on SSR for a decade or so, suddenly I had to verify my email after the last update.
But I couldn't because it is a "hotmail" email that is not recognised.
So I didn't comment for the past month, and I see that we have much less comments, so it probably isn't just me.
You cannot even like or interact in anyway to let others know you have a problem.
In the end, I reluctantly inserted another horrible email provider (google) in my profile & that worked.
Anyway, blocking all microsoft users is counter-productive for SB Nation, and I strongly hesitated to remove my account in the process.

I hope this message wakes up someone/anyone who suddenly sees a sharp decrease in participation & wonders why.
