In a season that may end up being defined by how unusual it turned out to be, the Lakers’ continued dominance on the road has helped provide a little normalcy. As have some flashback performances from LeBron James, like the one we got to witness on Monday night in the team’s 115-108 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Back in his hometown, James poured in 46 points, seven threes and handed out several glimpses of that kid from Akron that first sparked our intrigue many moons ago. For the Lakers, James’ big night helped secure their tenth road win of the year, and built momentum heading into a potential Finals preview with the Sixers on Wednesday, which brings us to today’s episode.
On this week’s edition of “Talk-O Tuesday” — a podcast by Silver Screen and Roll — our hosts Alex Padilla and Alex Regla recapped the Lakers win over the Cavaliers, talked about James’ explosion on offense and his year thus far. The two also discussed whether or not the team needs to add another big, then give their predictions for the rest of the road trip before finally wrapping up by sharing their thoughts on Kobe Bryant, one year later.
