The Los Angeles Lakers got a huge, 117-109 win over the Houston Rockets to even up the second round of the NBA playoffs at 1-1 on Sunday night. In our latest episode of The Silver Screen and Roll postgame podcast, co-hosts Anthony Irwin and Jas Kang broke down the victory.

The guys discussed what the Lakers did differently from the opener to smother the Rockets’ high-octane offense, and how they controlled the pace of the game. Anthony and Jas then got into how the Lakers forced Rockets guard Russell Westbrook to try and beat them, rather than letting James Harden run wild (like they did in Game 1).

Following that, the guys shared their thoughts on Anthony Davis’ performance, and debated if he is settling for too many jumpers. Then, after the break, Anthony and Jas talked about what adjustments the Lakers made on the defensive end on Sunday, and if the Rockets are going to be able to make this a long series.

Finally, to wrap things up, the guys discussed the Giannis Antetokounmpo drama, and if he will stay with the Milwaukee Bucks beyond next year after this playoff no-show by his team.
