In this episode of “The 30,” a podcast by Silver Screen and Roll, hosts Anthony Irwin and Jas Kang kicked things off by discussing how the Los Angeles Lakers made easy work of the Houston Rockets over the final four games of the Western Conference Semifinals to book their first trip to the conference finals in a decade.

The guys got into how head coach Frank Vogel made all the right adjustments to mitigate any advantage the Rockets had by benching his true centers and committing to playing small ball full time. Then, Anthony and Jas talked about Rajon Rondo’s impressive debut in his first playoff series with the Lakers, and if he will be able to carry his strong level of play over to the Western Conference Finals, or if he’ll turn back into a pumpkin at some point.

Following the break, the guys discussed which team the Lakers should be hoping to play out of the LA Clippers and Denver Nuggets, who are heading into Game 7 in their own Western Conference Semifinals series on Tuesday.

Finally, to wrap things up, the guys gave their predictions for the deciding game between the Clippers and Nuggets.
