On Kobe Bryant day, Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard J.R. Smith put a pretty incredible tribute to the man who played his position for the team for two decades on his shoes before Game 4 of the NBA playoffs:
On JR Smith’s left shoe, he has written in marker: “WWKD (What Would Kobe Do)”.

On his right shoe: “SHOOT”.
That is perhaps the most accurate answer that has ever been given to a question, because if there was one solution Bryant had for almost every problem throughout his career, it was just to keep shooting. It’s what made him one of the best players of all-time, and also one of the most unforgettable.
The folks over at BreakingT decided to let us commemorate Bryant’s “to shoot or to also shoot?” decision tree with a shirt based on Smith’s incredible message. If you — like nearly everyone else — missed out on that Black Mamba jersey you were eyeing, this is a pretty fun (and affordable) back-up option to remember Kobe’s Mamba Mentality with.
The shirt is available for purchase below.
