After a set of surprisingly fun and impressive scrimmage games from the Los Angeles Lakers this past week, games will start to count towards their regular season record again beginning Thursday.
It’s fitting that the Lakers and Clippers will kick things off for the NBA’s restart considering how the overwhelming assumption is that Western Conference winner will come out of Los Angeles. A lot has changed since the last time the two teams faced off on March 8, and while this game ultimately does not matter in the grand scheme of things, there will still be areas worth paying attention to.
Which brings us to today’s episode.
On this week’s edition of Talk-O-Tuesday, our hosts Alex Padilla and Alex Regla spend the majority of the show previewing Thursday’s matchup with the Clippers, and also discuss what they would like to see on the floor before the playoffs begin.
For those that need a reminder, here is who the Lakers will play before the playoffs:
vs. LA Clippers on Thursday, July 30
vs. Toronto Raptors on Saturday, August 1
vs. Utah Jazz on Monday, August 3
vs. Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday, August 5
vs. Houston Rockets on Thursday, August 6
vs. Indiana Pacers on Saturday, August 8
vs. Denver Nuggets on Monday, August 10
vs. Sacramento Kings on Thursday, August 13
