If this were a normal season, the Los Angeles Lakers likely would have known whether or not Anthony Davis was going to re-sign by now. Since this season has been anything but normal, they won’t know the answer to that question until October.
Admittedly, Davis’ free agency has been an afterthought in the midst of everything going on in the world. Even he hasn’t thought much about his impending free agency.
“Actually, I haven’t,” Davis said. “I was still focused on trying to see what the NBA was going to do about this season, and if we’re going to come back or not. But no, it hasn’t crossed my mind within this four month three month break.”
Davis made one thing clear during JaVale McGee’s latest vlog, though: he wants to be purple team until the day he dies.

Now, it’s pretty obvious Davis is talking about the purple scrimmage team he played for at practice, but do you what other team wears purple? The Sacramento Kings.
AD to the Kings confirmed.
You can watch the full episode of “Life in the Bubble” with McGee below. It features a cool dad moment from Frank Vogel, so I highly recommend it.
1-2-3 Mamba!
Even with how long this year has seemingly dragged on, the tragic death of Kobe Bryant is still fresh in the hearts of Lakers fans and within the team. In fact, according to Taylor Rooks of Bleacher Report, the Lakers have a new way of breaking up their huddle:

This probably won’t be the only way the Lakers pay tribute to Bryant while they’re in Orlando, but if it is, it’s a really touching gesture, and a tradition that should be carried on for generations to come.
Waiters Island Resort
The Lakers may be at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, but make no mistake: wherever Dion Waiters is, Waiters Island follows, and as we all know, the party never stops on Waiters Island.

Between Waiters and J.R. Smith, there will be no shortage of Lakers content in the bubble.
