In exactly one week, the Los Angeles Lakers will return to the court for a scrimmage game against the Dallas Mavericks. It will mark their first organized game of basketball since March 10, when they lost the Brooklyn Nets at home.
The following week, the Lakers will officially restart their season against the LA Clippers. That game is easily the most exciting part of their eight-game seeding schedule, but it’s not the only one that will be worth tuning into.
On today’s episode of “Can U Dig It?”, Christian and Jacob break down the Lakers’ schedule starting with their game against the Clippers on July 30. For those that need a reminder of who they’ll be playing, here’s their full schedule (all of which will be televised on Spectrum SportsNet):
July 30 vs. LA Clippers
August 1 vs. Toronto Raptors
August 3 vs. Utah Jazz
August 5 vs. Oklahoma City Thunder
August 6 vs. Houston Rockets
August 8 vs. Indiana Pacers
August 10 vs. Denver Nuggets
August 13 vs. Sacramento Kings
In discussing the Lakers’ schedule, they identified Western Conference teams they believe pose a real threat to LeBron James’ shot at a fourth title (spoiler alert: there are only three), as well as the teams they’re not concerned about at all.
