The Los Angeles Lakers canceled practice on Tuesday, which is a scary thing to read in light of everything going on right now. Fortunately, as far as we know, the Lakers are fine and just had the day off.
The team wasn’t especially active on social media as a result of their off day, but they did share a few things that are worthy of a spot in today’s Bubble Blog.
Slides are fun!
The Lakers are technically in Orlando for a business trip, but it seems they’re taking some time to enjoy all that the Walt Disney World Resort has to offer too. On Tuesday, JaVale McGee and Kyle Kuzma hit up the pool and went down a water slide. Judging by their reactions, they expected the slide to be bigger, but to be fair, they’re literal giants.

Wear a mask!
The Showtime Lakers have reunited to ask fans to help them bring down the toughest opponent they’ve ever faced — and no, it’s not the 1983-84 Boston Celtics.
In a video posted by UCLA Health on Tuesday, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, James Worthy, AC Green, Michael Cooper and James Worthy asked people to wear a mask in an effort to slow down the spread of the coronavirus. Robert Horry was also in the video.
In this week's #MondayMotivation, @kaj33 partnered with some familiar faces at the @Lakers to remind you to wear your mask.

Wear a mask, people! If not for the people in your life, then for a few Lakers legends!
No days off for Dion
Dion Waiters didn’t make his debut for the Lakers before the season was suspended in March due to concerns over his physical condition after appearing in only three games for the Miami Heat, the last of which was played in January.
While Waiters was quarantined, he made an effort to slim down, and it doesn’t seem like he’s going to slow down now.

Waiters Island is now a muscle beach, I guess.
