Yes, it is a shame we call it “soccer.”

When the NBA begins its regular season at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, another sport will be having its playoffs at the Walt Disney World Resort: Major League Soccer.

On July 8, the MLS will kick off its group stage matches for the “MLS is back Tournament.” By the time the NBA starts its season, the MLS will be its quarterfinal games. That in conjunction with the fact that Liverpool — a team LeBron James has a minority stake in — won its first Premier League title in 30 years inspired today’s episode of “Can U Dig It?”

Christian and Jacob invited their friend Kendrew on to make soccer comps for the 22 teams that will be competing in Orlando. This exercise wasn’t just an excuse for the guys to talk about soccer; it was also guide for soccer fans that don’t know what team to root for once the NBA season starts back up.

Which team is the Manchester United of the NBA? What about Barcelona and Real Madrid?

They also debate which NBA player would dominate the soccer field (and vice verse), the basketball version of the Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo debate, and which managers have the personality of an NBA coach.
