We are so deep into this weird NBA offseason that we have now reached some level of normalcy: Head coaching rumors! Some of the latest ones concerned Lakers assistant coach Jason Kidd and the New York Knicks, and so that was the central topic of our latest podcast.

Normal host Harrison Faigen was joined by former co-host Anthony Irwin on the latest episode of “Lakers, Explained” — a podcast by Silver Screen and Roll — to talk over whether they think the Lakers will lose Kidd, how that would affect the team if they did, what impact they think he’s had this year, and how well prepared the team would be to replace him if they needed to do so.

After that, they discussed the rumors that the Lakers are secretly working out in Los Angeles during the quarantine, and what types of advantages (if any) they feel that will give the purple and gold when the NBA season resumes later next month.

You can listen to the full episode below, and to make sure you never miss a single one, subscribe to the Silver Screen and Roll podcast feed on iTunes, Spotify, Stitcher or Google Podcasts.

And after this show, Harrison jumped over onto Tuesday’s episode of Locked on Lakers with Anthony to figure out how ready the Lakers are (or aren’t) to deal with the absence of any of their players, should they choose to pass on going to Disney World. You can listen to that show when it drops over here.
