Beyond the obviously more real and important aspects of everyday life that have suddenly been swept away, the lack of live sports continues to be felt by many. While many leagues, productions and live events in general have wisely shut down — including, but not limited to, the MLB and, of course, the NBA — one form of entertainment is still strangely chugging along: professional wrestling.

Which brings us to today’s episode.

With Wrestlemania weekend freshly in the books, our hosts Alex Padilla and Alex Regla worked around the clock to come up with their best wrestling comparisons for this current crop of Lakers. Using the players’ physiques, personalities and reputations, our hosts narrowed down ten wrestling counterparts that ranged from the obscure, to some of the most famous in history.

If you have your own wrestler comps in mind, drop us a comment or hit us up on Twitter at @LakersSBN.

Editor’s note: Alex Caruso should be Ric Flair for Halloween this year.

They also discussed haircut stories, Guy Fieri and much, much more. Yes, we’ve reached that point of the NBA hiatus. Hurry back, basketball.
