On Monday night, Dave McMenamin of ESPN broke the news that the Lakers have reached out to Los Angeles Mayor’s office about the possibly of re-opening the team’s practice facility ahead of the city’s May 15 shelter at home order target date. While this is just a small step in the many that still need to be hurdled before basketball can resume, it is undoubtedly an important one.
On today’s episode of “Talk-O-Tuesday,” our hosts Alex Padilla and Alex Regla react to the news report before spending the majority of the show discussing which Lakers games in history they wish they could have experienced in person. Of course, the Lakers have a handful of championship games to choose from, but their players have also had some of the most impressive individual performances that we’ve ever seen in the NBA, like Kobe Bryant’s 81-point game, or his 60-point swan song.
The Alex’s also touch on the reported Kobe Bryant documentary in the works, as well as a very unfortunate few seconds for Vlade Divac.
