Podcast: How do the Lakers stack up against the Bucks and Clippers?

The Lakers have lost all of their meetings with the Bucks and Clippers so far, but that doesn’t mean they’re hopeless in a playoff series.

The Los Angeles Lakers have shown us a lot this season. They’ve shown that they can make a pairing of LeBron James and Anthony Davis work (go figure), they’ve shown that there’s still some value in playing two centers (thanks JaVale and Dwight) and they’ve shown that they’re capable of being an elite defensive team when they want to be.

The one thing the Lakers haven’t shown yet, though, is that they can slow down two of the three best players in the NBA, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kawhi Leonard. Luckily, with the Milwaukee Bucks and LA Clippers on the schedule for later this week, they’ll get the chance to show they can do that sooner rather than later.

In today’s episode of “Can U Dig it?” — a podcast by Silver Screen and Roll — co-hosts Jacob Rude and Christian Rivas talk about how the Lakers match up with the Bucks and Clippers, why they haven’t beaten them this season, and how much weight their meetings in the regular season should carry.

They also talk about the players that could be difference-makers in those potential playoff series, including Danny Green and Kyle Kuzma. Lastly, Jacob and Christian looked at a few other teams that could give the Lakers problems in March, like the Toronto Raptors and Houston Rockets.
