On this episode of “I Love Basketball”, Sabreena is joined by a special guest, the original co-host of the show, Sasha. The two of them go through the news of the day, that two Lakers have tested positive for coronavirus. They give their thoughts on whether the season can go on with the latest updates on the pandemic.

Then, Sabreena and Sasha continue the Silver Screen & Roll “Let’s Appreciate A Laker” series with Avery Bradley. They take some time to appreciate the Lakers’ starting point guard, who defied all of the expectations Sabreena had for him entering the season and became arguably the most reliable role player on the team. They express particular appreciation for his play from January onwards, including his cathartic performance in the Lakers’ win against the Clippers, which feels like a million years ago at this point.

Sasha then makes a passionate defense of the “Washed King” nickname for LeBron James, and reminisces about how incredible a season James was having before it was cut short by this suspension in play. Then, Sabreena and Sasha close the show by projecting the roster for next season and discussing which of the team’s free agents they think will be returning to the Lakers (whenever free agency ultimately ends up being).
