In what ended up being an exciting potential first round preview of the NBA playoffs, the Los Angeles Lakers beat the New Orleans Pelicans 118-109 Tuesday night behind a monstrous 40-point performance from LeBron James.

The night also saw the eater of worlds, Zion Williamson, do what he does, Markieff Morris make his Lakers debut and Alex Caruso once again steal the show. Which brings us to today’s episode.

Our hosts Anthony Irwin and Alex Regla give their instant reactions to the Lakers’ win, highlighting James and Willamson’s impressive performances. They also discuss Caruso’s role in the victory, and what an interesting recent trend in his minutes could mean the rest of the year and into the playoffs.

Anthony and Alex also breakdown what a potential postseason matchup between the two teams could look like, potential issues and more.
