In the latest episode of “The 30,” a podcast on the Silver Screen and Roll podcast fee, host Jas Kang was joined by former Los Angeles Lakers Kareem Rush.
To kick things off, they broke down the Lakers’ thrilling win over the Celtics, and how LeBron James and Anthony Davis dominated the game. They followed up that up by discussing the Lakers signing Markieff Morris, and what he can bring to the team.
Then, Kareem shared his thoughts on what the Lakers need going down to the stretch run and heading towards the playoffs. Kareem and Jas also got into the need for a third scorer to step up in the playoffs, and how the Lakers match up with the Clippers.
Following that, Kareem looked back on his time as a Laker, and the three seasons he spent playing alongside a young Kobe Bryant, and what he’ll remember about his late teammate. Jas also asked Kareem to share his memories of playing on the loaded 2003-04 squad that lost to the Pistons.
Finally, to wrap things up, Kareem looked back on his career, and gave his predictions on which team will win the NBA Championship this year.
