On this day one year ago, the Los Angeles Lakers were coming fresh off of an exhilarating overtime win against the Dallas Mavericks. LeBron James led all scorers with 39 points, but it was Danny Green that was the MVP of the night because of his buzzer-beating 3-point that sent the game to overtime.

Fast-forward a year later, and the Lakers are champions of the NBA. Now, their main focus is getting their minds and bodies right for the 2020-21 season, which may come around sooner than anyone expected.

On this week’s episode of “Can U Dig It?”, Jacob and Christian empty the offseason mailbag and answer all of your questions about free agency, possible trades and the uncertainty of the 2020-21 season. During their conversation, Jacob and Christian do an exercise that we encourage you all to do in the comments:

  1. Outside of Anthony Davis, who’s the one player from last season’s roster that you’re positive will be back next season?
  2. Which player would you be okay letting go of in the offseason?
  3. Which player would you replace from last year’s roster and for who?

Jacob and Christian also talked about what they watched during the Halloween season, including “Hereditary” and “Over the Garden Wall” — two very different viewing experiences.
