While there are still a handful of trades that can and likely will happen before the NBA starts its regular season on Dec. 22, the Los Angeles Lakers have already made a splash in their offseason by agreeing to terms with the Oklahoma City Thunder to acquire Dennis Schroder for Danny Green and the No. 28 pick in Wednesday’s draft.

With Green’s absence, the team will almost certainly be active players in free agency. However, they’ll also have to try and balance their roster. One of the potential conundrums the front office must tackle this offseason is what to do with Kyle Kuzma, who not only deactivated his Twitter, but will also soon be up for an extension. Kuzma is the team’s last real asset in any future trades. Which brings us to today’s episode.

On this week’s edition of “Talk-O Tuesday,” our hosts Alex Padilla and Alex Regla discuss which routes the Lakers can take with Kuzma, including whether or not they should trade him and what his extension number should be. They also recap the wild first few days of the transaction window around the league, including the Schroder trade, and they give predictions for what Los Angeles will do next.
