The Los Angeles Lakers are back in business! Well, most of them are, anyway.
On Monday, the Lakers posted a video of a group of players getting a workout in at the UCLA Health Training Center in El Segundo — a group that included JaVale McGee, Kyle Kuzma, Danny Green, Dwight Howard, Avery Bradley, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and, of course, Anthony Davis. Head coach Frank Vogel and his assistant coaches — Phil Handy, Jason Kidd and Miles Simons — were also in the building, making it one of the more formal workouts they’ve had this summer.

Now, I know what some of you are thinking: Where is LeBron James?
Does he not care that the season starts in a little over a month? Is he filming another movie? Where is his Mamba Mentality?
In all seriousness, James is roaming around in Italy — either on his yacht or by foot — enjoying the fruits of his labor.

James also spent last summer in Italy before training camp. It is possible he found the storied Fountain of Youth in Italy? By the looks of it, yes.

James will spend a few more days overseas before returning to the states for a Lakers minicamp he organized. According to Brad Turner of the Los Angeles Times, the camp is set to tip-off on Sept. 22 at Impact Basketball in Las Vegas and end of Sept. 26.
After that, he and the Lakers will report to the practice facility for Media Day, which will take place on September 27. Then, the real fun begins with their first preseason game at the brand new Chase Center in San Francisco on Oct. 5.
18 more days.
