In less than a month, LeBron James and Anthony Davis will take the floor at Staples Center and tip off what promises to be another exciting era of Lakers basketball.
Before the start of the regular season on Oct. 22, though, James and Davis need to get used to playing together and on Sunday, it looks like James, Davis and a handful of other Klutch Clients got a run in at the UCLA Health Training Center in El Segundo, where the Lakers practice.
James posted a picture of himself going in for a dunk he shouldn’t be able to thrown down at 34 years old on Instagram on Sunday:
Just behind James is Dwight Howard, who seems to be getting acclimated with his new teammates. Danny Green, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Alex Caruso were among the other Lakers in attendance.
After the workout, James put up a separate post for Davis on his Instagram story, saying that he and Davis will motivate each other during their time together:

The relationship between James and Davis is going to play a pivotal role in the Lakers’ success not only this this upcoming season, but beyond.
While James and Davis clicking right away would translate to wins in the immediate future, it would also make it easier for Davis to re-sign with the Lakers next summer, when he can become an unrestricted free agent. Suffice to say, the Rob Pelinka and Co. are hoping they get along better than Kobe Bryant and Howard did six years ago.
Expect more pictures of James and Davis working out together to leak over the next few weeks as the team gets ready for training camp and James’ minicamp in Los Angeles on September 22.
