We are smack-dab in the middle of get-angry-about-damn-near-anything season and boy this time of year sucks. Still, our podcast hosts do their absolute best to get you through this time of year, mocking those who had a problem with LeBron James celebrating his son, Steve Kerr just in general and, as always, Applebee’s.
The Lake Show
On this week’s “The Lake Show,” Harrison and I welcomed Mirin Fader of Bleacher Report to discuss her tremendous profile of the Antetokounmpo family. Harrison kept mispronouncing “Kostas,” but hey, it isn’t like he’s a Laker or anything like that. As Harrison always says, shouts to Bob Kostas.
From there, we discuss some of the latest goings on surrounding the Lakers, and boy it’s obvious we desperately need actual basketball to talk about. We start, though, with Jared Dudley disagreeing with Kerr on Davis potentially ruining the league. Stop whining, Steve.
We then discuss Davis’ own proclamation that his career would be a failure without a championship. The sentiment sounds a lot cooler than it actually is.
To wrap up the show, we discuss a chapter of Byron Scott’s book on success.

Locked on Lakers
On today’s show, I opened up the mailbag and raced through as many questions as I could so as to get on track for the rest of the week. Topics included: How teams use two-way contracts, why it makes sense to keep the 15th roster spot open, the role player I’m most excited to watch next year, and more.
