LeBron James might be shut down for the year, but that won’t stop us from having a little fun. Today’s podcasts discuss him building a court for pickup games while he shoots Space Jam 2, Rajon Rondo saying he wants back next year and more mailbag questions.
The Lake Show
On this week’s episode, Harrison catches me up on what I might’ve missed while I was, um, unavailable over the weekend. We start by discussing LeBron’s first year as a Laker now that it’s basically behind us. All-in-all, quite a bit about how we think about the Lakers and James have changed, and not necessarily for the better.
Harrison then drops what I was hoping might be an April Fools’ joke about Rondo saying he wants back over the weekend. I didn’t react all that well.
So, I didn’t react all that well when @hmfaigen told me Rondo wants back next season. https://t.co/ukrVFPKMis pic.twitter.com/BYvz9ZIugj

To wrap up the show, we have a little fun with Space Jam 2 stories that could come out over the summer, a Byron chapter and plenty more. Listen below for our entire conversation and, for more Lakers talk, subscribe to the Silver Screen and Roll podcast feed on iTunes, Spotify, Stitcher or Google Podcasts.
Locked on Lakers
As promised, I dove back into the mailbag to get to any questions I might’ve missed on Monday’s episode. As per usual, a lot of people are interested in how we think this offseason is going to go, and for good reason. A lot is riding on the Lakers finding a player to help LeBron carry the burden next year, just in case his injury issues aren’t mere outliers moving forward.
Other topics covered: If I could jump ship and be a fan of another team, what team that might be, whether or not I believe the young core will bounce back next season from three-point range, and more.
You can listen to the entire episode below, and make sure to subscribe on iTunes, where you can also leave questions in the form of a five-star review to guarantee your topic makes the show.
