With only six games left in the season for the Los Angeles Lakers, and LeBron James sitting out all of them, the focus has pretty much wholeheartedly turned to this summer and how the organization can best ensure next season doesn’t follow in the footsteps of this one.
I Love Basketball
Sasha and Sabreena talked about the context of the end of LeBron’s first season with the Lakers, and are mostly excited and hopeful for the future. Former South Bay Laker Jemerrio Jones made his debut appearance on Kiddie’s Korner, as the gals talked about what his brand new contract with the Lakers could signal for summer trades and team building.
They forgot to mention that Josh Hart, Ivica Zubac, and Larry Nance Jr. got steaks together this week while the Cavaliers were in town, but they thought it was real cute.
Sabreena also put forward an impassioned defense of JaVale McGee in light of the overly-harsh criticism of his post-pneumonia play.
Lastly, they handed out a very special award to a man who yearns for nothing more than recognition for his flash and pizzazz.

Locked on Lakers
As with every other Monday, it’s time to open up the mailbag. Classic good news, bad news situation, though... The good news: There were way too many questions for a single show. The bad news: That means I had to split them up and will answer the second half of those questions tomorrow.
Topics included: Why the Lakers struggle shooting the ball and feel like they have for so long, Clyde Frazier’s thoughts on LeBron, poker, and plenty more, like if James signed a one-year deal, would he come back next season?
You can listen to the entire episode below, and make sure to subscribe on iTunes, where you can also leave questions in the form of a five-star review to guarantee your topic makes the show.
