The Los Angeles Lakers had their winning streak snapped by the Dallas Mavericks in a way that most fans who’ve paid close attention to the the team probably saw coming. On today’s shows, our hosts discussed how some of the issues that popped up can be addressed.
Lake Show
Harrison and I started the show with a conversation about the state of the Lakers given their schedule to this point, and where their performance sits given expectations for the team. There really isn’t much to complain about, but that’s basically my job.
The beginning of our conversation had to do with Frank Vogel and the job he’s done to this point. He apparently deserves such praise that even Harrison had to give me props for crediting him the way I previously did — right before the NBA named him Western Conference Coach of the Month.
From there, we turned our attention to Rajon Rondo, who has basically been the opposite of Frank Vogel, and then answer your guys’ questions before finally previewing each game of the harder December schedule.

Locked on Lakers
Today’s show started with a conversation about the habits that led to the Lakers’ loss to Dallas. Neither Pete nor I were all that shocked to see how that game played out, and we explained why.
From there, we opened up the mailbag to answer your guys’ questions, but didn’t really get very far at all.
We did have a couple fun conversations about the evolution of Lakers coverage, and build out the discussion from that point on.
