The Los Angeles Lakers have a few days off between games, which left our podcast hosts to have a little fun with the downtime. Such freedom can either be really, really good, or really, really bad.
The Lake Show
Harrison and I started the show with what has become a popular segment: Let’s get Anthony to rant and rave about someone so they can turn their season around the very next game. Kyle Kuzma was the subject of this latest one.
In all seriousness, though, there is something we both agreed could potentially help turn things around more consistently for Kuzma, and it has to do with the superstar he has been spending the most time with thus far.
From there, we opened up the iTunes mailbag and then took (a ton of) questions from Twitter as well that took us all over the place.
We wrapped the episode up with two of the best readings from Byron’s book we’ve ever come across, and that’s saying something.

Locked on Lakers
Today’s episode was a fun one, and even got a little competitive at the end of the show. More on that later. Pete and I started, however, with a little fun at Karl-Anthony Towns’ expense because of the thorough beatdown Anthony Davis gave him.
Once we get our fill of that, we open up the mailbag to catch back up for this week. Topics included the type of defense the Lakers’ guards have played strategically, Alex Caruso’s defense specifically and more.
As promised, though, we wrapped up the show with a fun little fantasy draft thanks to a listener questions asking that we take turns drafting an all-time Lakers starting five that would play against each other. Not to give anything away, but my team is better.
You can listen to the entire episode below, and make sure to subscribe on iTunes, where you can also leave questions in the form of a five-star review to guarantee your topic makes the show.
