Following a successful weekend, the Los Angeles Lakers are looking to close out their road trip and get back home with a nice, comfortable gap between them and their Western Conference opponents for the best record among the league’s elite. Our hosts talked about the team’s back-to-back wins and the general vibe around the squad.
The 30
In this episode, Jas is joined by our Editor-in-Chief, Harrison Faigen. To kick things off, the guys discussed the Lakers close win over the Grizzlies to improve to an NBA best 14-2.
Harrison and Jas got into why the team has been able to gel so quickly and give their thoughts on the team’s hot start, then they talked about the wonderful job Frank Vogel has done as head coach, and why he has been a pleasant surprise despite the pressure of coaching the Lakers.
Following that, the guys broke down LeBron James’ performance so far this season, especially on the defensive end, and with Harrison covering the team, he got into the energy and cohesiveness this roster has so far and why it has been a joy to be around.
To wrap things up, they discussed the importance of Kyle Kuzma, and gave their opinions on when the Lakers might lose again.
