The Los Angeles Lakers nearly completed a 20-point comeback but ultimately fell to the Milwaukee Bucks 124-122 in overtime.

It wasn’t an exciting game for Lakers fans until the final quarter, when an unexpected band of heroes led erased a 20-point Milwaukee deficit. Ivica Zubac was the shining star in the fourth, scoring 12 of his 16 points in the final frame. He found a nice groove with Alex Caruso, who will start his postseason campaign with the South Bay Lakers Saturday in Oklahoma City.

But Eric Bledsoe was too much for Los Angeles, putting up a game-high 39 points, including a solo 4-0 run at the start of overtime. He also added 6 assists and 3 rebounds.

Only three Bucks finished in double figures, but all of them finished with at least 20 points. Comparatively, six different Lakers finished in double figures.

Kyle Kuzma led the Lakers with 27 points and 12 rebounds, but couldn’t get the game winning shot to fall in overtime. Brook Lopez was also a key contributor with 20 points on 9-of-14 shooting from the field.

The Lakers will have the day off before hosting the Sacramento Kings on Easter Sunday. We’ll see you then.
