Lakers vs. Heat Final Score: Lakers look lost in 92-91 loss to Heat

Another disappoiting effort from the banged up Lakers.

The Los Angeles Lakers nearly sleepwalked their way to a win, but in a game that was never really theirs, they lost to the Miami Heat 92-91.

The Lakers had no answer for All-Star Goran Dragic, who willed his injury riddled team to their 37th win of the season with a game-high 30 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists. Dragic was responsible for four of Miami’s 10 3-pointers.

If his back is hurting tomorrow, you know why.

Julius Randle was his usual self, putting up 25 points and 12 rebounds for Los Angeles. Per Tania Ganguli of the Los Angeles Times, Friday marked Randle’s fourth consecutive game with 20 or more points, a new personal best for him.

Want another weird stat from Friday? All four Lakers to reach double figures were big men, including Randle, Brook Lopez, Travis Wear and Kyle Kuzma. Like I said, weird.

The Lakers didn’t get much from their guards, namely Isaiah Thomas who shot 1-of-9 from the floor. Not even Lonzo Ball was his usual self on defense, which usually makes up for his shortcomings on offense.

The Lakers will have the weekend to get things together before hopping on a plane to Indiana to take on the Pacers. Hopefully by then, L.A. will have a few more healthy bodies, including a certain slender man.
