Professional athletes get countless requests for their time, and can’t be expected to come close to meeting all of them, so it’s always cool to see when they get the chance to spend a while with people who appreciate it.
Los Angeles Lakers big man Ivica Zubac is one of the latest members of the purple and gold to do so, visiting a few kids from at the City of Hope, which describes itself as “a world leader in the research and treatment of cancer, diabetes, and other serious diseases.”

Zubac playing Uno with kids is probably the sweetest picture I’ve seen this summer.
Zu brought some good vibes today as he took some time out to visit patients at @cityofhope. pic.twitter.com/up5vImvA0R

Everyone has had a relative go through a serious medical condition, so on a human level it’s awesome to see Zubac spreading some smiles to a few people who need them. The Lakers are continuing to do amazing work in the community, plus it looks like Zubac had a great time to boot. Good for him, the team, and City of Hope.
