Lakers guard Lonzo Ball on Lil B’s threat to curse him: ‘I don’t believe in that’

Los Angeles’ young point guard isn’t superstitious.

Rapper Lil B threatened to “curse” Los Angeles Lakers point guard Lonzo Ball over the weekend when the rookie revealed he didn’t listen to Nas, but Ball isn’t worried.

“I don’t believe in that,” Ball told Mike Bresnahan of Spectrum Sportsnet in a video interview. “Not at all.”

Lil B’s record with cursing actual famous people remains mixed, but Ball probably shouldn’t be worried because curses aren’t real, people. At least other than the expletive kind. Ball shouldn’t be any more worried about Lil B cursing him than a black cat crossing his path while he steps under a ladder as he spills salt shakers all over a floor of broken mirrors.

While it’s hilarious that someone actually asked Ball about this, I think it’s safe to say he has bigger concerns entering heading into his rookie year — like how to cut his own food — than a delusional Z-List rapper.
