The Los Angeles Lakers are early in their training camp process, and Day 2 of practice provided the first opportunity for the group to let loose a bit on the court.
Head coach Luke Walton said the team would scrimmage for the first time in the latter half of their second two-a-day workout and followed through. While we may not have the details of how the scrimmages went just yet, or how the teams were divided, it sounds like whoever was on Lonzo Ball’s team enjoyed a
Lakers reporter Mike Trudell hopefully delivers the juicy details later, but from what he’s hearing Thursday morning as the team gathers for camp, Ball ran the table all afternoon. More impressive? He did it without playing with any “projected” starter on his squad:

On one hand, heck yes. On the other? Other starters, please don’t let this be a sign of things to come.

Kyle Kuzma and Lonzo Ball went 3-0 in scrimmages last night on a team with Corey Brewer, Vander Blue and Thomas Bryant.
