Lonzo Ball is ready to launch the second model of his signature line, or perhaps it’s model 1.5. The ZO2: Prime REMIX has been launched by Big Baller Brand, taking a second look at Lonzo’s initial offering as he prepares to launch his Los Angeles Lakers career.
The price tag hasn’t changed, still attached to a $495 setback if you’re grabbing a pair. The shoe, though, looks far more inspired from a design perspective. Here’s the first look, with Lonzo announcing it in a video collaboration with SLAM:
Introducing one of the lightest basketball shoes ever made. The ZO2 Prime Remix.

You can read more about the new design elements over on the Big Baller Brand product page, and I did just that. Lo and behold, this paragraph was quietly waiting near the bottom of the page. By the looks of things, this “remix” design is replacing all original ZO2 Prime orders:
PREVIOUS ZO2 PRIME ORDERS:SPECIAL NOTE: IF YOU HAVE ORDERED THE ORIGINAL ZO2 PRIME, YOUR AUTOMATICALLY SET TO BE SHIPPED A PAIR OF THE ZO2 PRIME REMIX ON NOVEMBER 24, 2017, AS A REPLACEMENT FOR YOUR ORIGINAL Z02 ORDER. IF YOU WOULD PREFER TO NOT RECEIVE A REPLACEMENT ORDER, PLEASE CONTACT OUR HELP DESK BEFORE NOVEMBER 10th, 2017 TO MAKE ALTERNATIVE ARRANGEMENTS.
That’s an interesting “detail” to slide in while no one’s looking, to say the least, but not one that LaVar Ball is worried about:

Did Lonzo just invent the (shoe) remix?
