Lonzo Ball is reportedly set to guest star on ‘Fuller House’

Los Angeles’ rookie guard is going to make his TV debut this year as well.

Becoming a member of the Los Angeles Lakers is often a step towards superstardom not just as a basketball player, but off the court as well. Countless Lakers have parlayed their Hollywood ties into Hollywood jobs over the years, and it sounds like Lonzo Ball is the latest among them.

According to Erin Nyren of Variety, “Ball will make his acting debut as a guest star in an episode of “Fuller House,” set to air during the second half of Season 3.” Ball will reportedly play himself as the fictional version of him “visits the Tanner-Fullers at their home in an effort to recruit someone to join the Lakers organization.”

Who could Lonzo be recruiting? The report doesn’t say, although anyone who watched the original ‘Full House’ (which ‘Fuller House’ is a spin-off of) could tell you with absolute certainty that Ball will NOT be recruiting John Stamos’ character, Uncle Jesse (and hey, look, Lonzo is following Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s footsteps!):

Ball’s own reality show just premiered on Facebook, so maybe that will leave him comfortable enough in front of the cameras to avoid his new head coach’s fate as one of the worst Lakers’ acting performances in recent memory:
