What do you get for the man that has everything? It’s an age-old philosophical question that most people never have to answer, but family members of Kobe Bryant probably do. The retired Los Angeles Lakers superstar has more money than anyone could ever spend and a beautiful young family, so what can anyone even do to make Bryant’s birthday extra special?
Well, his wife Vanessa Bryant’s Instagram feed revealed that getting the cast of the smash-hit musical “Hamilton” to sing him “Happy Birthday” is a pretty solid start (h/t @CountOnVic):
Kobe’s “oh wow” with a smile is all of us awkwardly trying to welcome a surprise chorus of “Happy Birthday.” He has literally never been more relatable.
This video is pretty cool, but for me personally still wouldn’t top being called the greatest of all time by Pau Gasol on Twitter. HOWEVER, whichever birthday greeting he enjoyed more, it looks like Kobe had a pretty solid birthday indeed. All that’s left is for him to tweet “Celebrate THAT.”
