Pau Gasol calls Kobe Bryant the greatest of all time on his birthday

The best bromance in NBA history continues.

Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol teamed up on the Los Angeles Lakers to form one of the second one-two punches in NBA history, winning two titles and going to three NBA Finals in their time together.

On Kobe’s birthday, they connected one more time:

Is Kobe actually the GOAT? Honestly, who cares. I’m not going to argue with Pau, and the best player in NBA history is such a ridiculous accomplishment that only one in thousands can have anyway.

Kobe was good enough to be in the conversation, which is way more than most people ever get. I’d way rather talk about how Pau continues to have one of the best, most positive Twitter accounts in history and was the perfect yin to Kobe’s yang. May we all find our personal Pau Gasol’s to pump us up on our birthdays someday.

Happy birthday, Kobe.
