2K Sports has the NBA 2K18 hype train charging full speed ahead, dropping the debut trailer for the upcoming installment of the leading basketball simulation franchise.
There’s a LOT to take in, with plenty of little details spread throughout the trailer that longtime fans of the game will notice. And, yes, there’s plenty of looks at the Los Angeles Lakers — and former Laker D’Angelo Russell.

Shouts to 2K for paying homage to Prodigy of Mobb Deep by featuring “Shook Ones,” but that’s one of the most infamous verses of all-time they’re including and it’s completely butchered by censorship. Sure, they had to do it for the ESRB rating, but it’s edited so heavily it’s almost distracting.
Almost.
