Los Angeles Lakers frontcourt reserves Larry Nance, Jr. and Ivica Zubac went to watch Real Madrid play against Manchester City in Southern California Wednesday night. With most players, two teammates going to go watch a game together in the offseason wouldn’t be news, but Nance and Zubac aren’t most players, and couldn’t resist another social media argument over the result.
First, Nance went on Twitter to let fans know that once again, his side had won:
Was a Man City fan for the night rooting against @ivicazubac and Real Madrid... Per usual, my side won ⚽️

To which Zubac responded by basically calling Nance a bandwagon fan:
You are fan of a different team every other night ♂️ https://t.co/Lzttql9wdv
— Ivica Zubac (@ivicazubac) July 27, 2017
But Nance (as usual) got the final word in, using the rarely seen move of trolling Zubac on his Instagram story:
Larry Nance Jr. is TROLLING lol pic.twitter.com/HWmEndljsX

Zubac did not appear too happy in that video, although it does mark one of the few times a Lakers player sneaking up on a teammate with a camera seems to have worked out okay.
Nance and Zubac have one of the more fun social media dynamics of any two teammates in the NBA, and the Lakers should never be allowed to split them up. Hopefully they spend their whole careers playing alongside each other and bickering like brothers. Adam Silver, if you’re reading this, add that provision to the next CBA.
