One of the coolest things about Twitter is how it theoretically allows anyone to connect with anyone else. People can talk to friends, celebrities and everything in between.
Very seldom is the way Twitter has changed the way we communicate better on display than when Los Angeles Lakers forward Larry Nance, Jr's former pen pal used the social media site to reach out to him. As one would expect at this point, Nance's response was great:
@Larrydn22 many moons ago u were my pen pal during my tour overseas. It always meant alot, still have the letters. Glad your dreams came tru pic.twitter.com/i9hybhLJFw

WOW! That's awesome! So cool you kept these... Please by my guest to a game this year. I would love to meet you! https://t.co/2asN2o4ZhX

This is a really cool gesture from Nance, and hopefully his pen pal gets a chance to make it out to a Lakers game this season. With Nance running lanes in transition and finishing Lonzo Ball outlet passes, his friend will certainly be in for a show if and when she does get out to Staples Center.
