Lonzo Ball’s Los Angeles Lakers career began with back-to-back losses and a DNP in Game 3, but Ball turned his first Las Vegas Summer League experience around in a dominant performance against the Philadelphia 76ers to open the Lakers’ playoff round.

Lonzo dropped 36 points — all scored in the final three quarters — and notched a double-double with 11 assists in the Lakers’ 103-102 victory Wednesday night. Ball also had eight rebounds and five steals, rounding out an impressive stat-stuffing night from the No. 2 pick.

Lonzo’s shown improvement in each game, and his thrashing of the 76ers was a sight to behold. He took control of the game by getting to the rim and free-throw line, or finding the open man, and Philadelphia couldn’t slow Ball down once he got rolling in the fourth quarter.

If you missed the exciting game, or if you just want to enjoy watching the future of the franchise take over the game, check out the video below featuring full highlights of Ball’s breakout game at the Thomas and Mack Center:

Not bad, Lonzo. Maybe it was the Kobes he decided to wear.
