LAS VEGAS- After missing the Los Angeles Lakers’ win over the Sacramento Kings with injuries, Lonzo Ball (sore right groin) and Kyle Kuzma (cramps) will both return for the team’s first Las Vegas Summer League playoff game against the Philadelphia 76ers, according to the team.
Josh Hart (sprained right ankle), P.J. Dozier (sprained left ankle) and Brandon Ingram (shut down after cramping) will all remain out against Philadelphia.
Both Ball and Kuzma took part in a voluntary workout Tuesday and were expected to be reevaluated in Wednesday morning, and the team evidently feels comfortable both are once again healthy enough to play.
Should the Lakers beat the Sixers, they would next play Thursday at 7:30 pm PT. If they lose to Philadelphia, then they would still play one more summer league game, Friday at 5:30 pm PT.
