Ivica Zubac, David Nwaba and Larry Nance, Jr. took the Lakers’ new draft picks paintballing to welcome them to the team

No better way to get to know co-worker than by shooting them (with paint).

One of the keys for any developing young team is chemistry, and the Los Angeles Lakers are no different. Bringing in high-character players who are widely recognized as good teammates has been one of the front office’s most frequently-stated goals with every acquisition this offseason.

Social media has given fans a window into that bonding process like never before, and it probably shouldn’t be a surprise that it was Larry Nance, Jr. who seemingly organized one of the first bonding outings for the team’s newest draft acquisitions of Thomas Bryant, Josh Hart and Kyle Kuzma. David Nwaba and Ivica Zubac being along for the ride is also no shock:

Welcomed the boys to LA with some paintball S/O @beardegidio for showing us a good time today

Kuzma made it sound like he had fun:

Ivica Zubac was just happy he got to shoot at the team’s new rookies:

Nance is done with summer league, but the rest of this group, along with Brandon Ingram, Lonzo Ball and several others will suit up for the Lakers in Las Vegas next week.
