NBA Free Agency Rumors: Lakers 'leaning toward re-signing Tyler Ennis'

The Los Angeles Lakers appear poised for a boring free agency period given how full their roster already is.

According Tania Ganguli of the Los Angeles Times, the team may be bringing another familiar face back to the fold as well, reporting on the eve of free agency that the Lakers "are leaning toward re-signing Tyler Ennis."

Ennis averaged 7.7 points and 2.4 assists after the Lakers acquired him from the Houston Rockets in exchange for Marcelo Huertas last season at the trade deadline.

If the Lakers brought him back, it would bring their roster to 15 players, the league maximum during the regular season, although the team still might waive Tarik Black and his non-guaranteed salary for next season. Teams are also allowed to bring 20 players to training camp.

Either way, the point is that the Lakers' roster space is tight, so don't expect many major splashes this offseason, especially if Ennis is re-signed.
