We knew that the Los Angeles Lakers Las Vegas Summer League roster would feature heavy doses of Brandon Ingram, Lonzo Ball and Ivica Zubac, and we now know who will be coaching them.
Lakers assistant coach Jud Buechler will coach the team’s summer league roster, according to Mark Medina of the Southern California News Group. It is unknown as of right now who will serve on his staff in Las Vegas.
In addition to coaching Ingram, Ball and Zubac, the Lakers’ roster for Las Vegas is also expected to include David Nwaba (Whose option the team picked up Wednesday), as well as 2017 draft picks Kyle Kuzma, Thomas Bryant and Josh Hart. The Lakers will also reportedly have undrafted free agent guard PJ Dozier on their roster in Las Vegas, with an official announcement on the rest of the roster and staff expected soon.
The Lakers will tip-off summer league against the LA Clippers on Friday, July 7 at 5:30 p.m. PT.
